Photographer's Note
Poffabbro is a very little lovely village not far from my place.
It was a very poor village, and inhabitants were leaving it if young, or finishing their life if old.
In 1976 there was an earthquake that damaged its old houses, and the Region govenment gave money to save these interesting works of ancient and typical architecture.
As house became healthy and safe people came back to live here, also new people loving this kind of places. Now almost all the village is restored, and a team of Italian TV came to show the beauty of such a place, so now it is known as one of the beautiful ancient Italian villages.
Poffabbro is 500 m high over sea level, it belongs to Frisanco common, and all the common has only 693 inhabitants.

Ciao Livia,
bella immagine.

Interesting POV with the street on one side and the stairs on the other both going up around this house. The shadow at the bottom may have been cropped to give overall more light to the picture 9see workshop). Anyway good picture and interesting note.

Hi Livia,
Amazing, you must see The Divide - the Baden-Württemberg version of this place, by Jean-Yves Roure (PixelTerror).
In your photo I like the way you use light and shadow.

Felice 500esimo post Livia, e auguri!

Grazie e buona giornata!

Hola Livia.
Love this shot with the narrow street in one side and the stairs in the other side. Very good POV, good sharpness and composition. Nice old houses in this beautiful village. Good note.
Well done.

Hi Livia,
This looks like a very scenic village indeed, with narrow and tall houses and little alleys in between. I'm glad to see there are no cars around, but find it strange that no people are to be seen, but I suppose you were waiting for the scene to get so empty :)

Ciao Livia,
As Francisco noted this view is quite similar to my Germany one, both our houses are interesting subjects btu I notice there is much more of a southern style in yours, I like thess stony houses that can be seen in mountainous areas in Italia, nice and well exposed photo.
Buona giornata,
Jean-Yves
