Photographer's Note

I want to continue my description of little village Poffabbro, that had been on the point of being neglected some years ago, but it was restored and people are coming back to live there.

Here is and example of a house became a Bed and Breakfast, well mantained with flowers and ancient tools. It is lovely, but it is also on the point of becoming a piece of kitsch if it becomes too lovely! In this village life had been hard, very hard, quite different from this clean pretty view.

Livia,
per me le tue foto "di casa" sono le migliori. C'è ... anima.
Ed è strano, perchè molti di noi tendono ad essere motivatissimi all'estero, svogliati e disattenti sotto casa.
Bella composizione verticale, con tutte le cose ordinate e ben disposte.

It is a simple and beautiful picture. I especially like the location of flowers, the wooden staircase and also the reflection of sunshine that created a sunny and warm atmosphere that is very pleasant to watch.

You refer a very interesting point: "becoming a piece of kitsch if it becomes too lovely". Indeed I noticed the hand cart (?) (carrello della mano?) in almost vertical position, with flowers in it. In a "normal" old villaggio the hand carts were not used that way, for that purpose.
Anyway, a nice foto of a Bed and Breakfast.

Sarà come dici tu ma è cosi che vorrei sempre vedere i paesini di montagna del nord e del resto d'Italia, puliti e in ordine, da far venire la voglia di trasfersi per sempre e mollare il caos cittadino, grazie di questa bella vista, e complimenti naturalmente.

bellissima la scena rurale. E' bella e romantica la casa con i fiori sulla ringhiera ma poi ci sono anche molti altri detagli da esplorare. Bellissima foto, da cartolina ;))

Nice repeating pattern and great light. The graphic pattern is impressive and well framed. I like the distribution of flowers in the scene as well, to give added colour. Nice composition and good work.
