Photographer's Note

The tessellated pattern of paving stones in the transparent water caught my eye here along with the diagonal shoreline leading to moored boats in the distance. Taken form the pier waiting for the boat to Naum Monastery.

Hello Chris,
It's a nice view but I don't recognize this place. It looks smaller and more quiet than how I remember Ohrid city. The grassy area with grey rocks forms a fine foreground triangle.The colours and light are very good.

Hello Chris,
I recognize this part of Ohrid near the large pier.
But I also remember that it was a very noisy part of town at night. Luckily I had a quiet room further up the hill.
Beautiful alternation of white facades and red roofs.
I also like the blue-green combination.
The composition is excellent and Ohrid looks very pictureque from this point of view.

Ziveo sam u Makedoniji, Kumanovo, bio sam na eksurziju sa skolom na Ohridsko jezero, ostalo mi je u lepom secanje.

Hello Chris, Nice view of the Lake Ohrid shore. Have you gone by boat to the Naum Monastery? The water looks very clear and transparent. A nicely composed picture with great colours and sharpness.

Hello Chris,

Yes, the tessellated shapes are unusual and eye-catching. Maybe there was something there previously which has sunk under the water. There are lots of examples of such occurrences.

It's a beautiful scene, very well composed on this stretched curve, which guides us so leisurely around the characterful, Greek village scene. Lovely colours from the use of your filter.

Hello Chris,
I love this kind of holiday ....reminder me of Greece.
The water-front restaurant by the lake and the white houses dotted on the green hill, overlooking the stunning view of the lake.
Most of all, the nice warm sunny weather which I needed that so badly.
It's nice to see the tessellated in all shapes and sizes ( instead of trash ) ...along the shoreline with the calm gentle waves and the moored small boats.

Hi Chris,
so it is not only the charming church located on top of the hill with the lake at the background but the whole experience is beautiful. The weather was fantastic then and the ploarized colors are so eye catching. Well selected foreground with rocky descend to the lake.

A pretty coatal town where the crystal clear blue water in particular is awesome followed by good mix of colors and clear highlights throughout. Contrast to the sky can't be better than this.
