Television Roots, a photo from Noord-Holland, South

Photographer's Note

This is the tallest building in the city where i work. The city of Hilversum is the Dutch TV city. Here are laying the roots of the Dutch TV. All the broadcasting corporations are located in Hilversum. This mast is sending all the radio and tv signals out. The mast is situated hundred meters of my work. This morning the weather was so beautiful so i decide to take some pictures for the Scavenger Hunt. The mast is 196 meters long.

I tried a low shot with some threes. I hope you like it.

Nice picture ,Robbert !
I would like to say about your shot that :
*The dark tree in the left is a strong point.
*Also, the tower (subject) is composed very excellent.
*With the trees in bottom you make a perfect framing.
*The contrast between all colors are excellent & cute(!).
And :The composition is perfect.
The pic is simple but very powerfull!

Photo intéressante Robbert. Nous avons la chance en France d'avoir la Tour Eiffel qui sert de transmission à la télévision et à la radio !

I still remember the name Hilversum from the old radio my father had.. You know the one with the disk player on top...

Mooie compositie Robbert, Het is inderdaad heel iets anders. Ik had durven zweren dat hij scheef stond, maar het tegen deel is waar hij staat recht en door de boom, lijkt het net of hij scheef staat, nee goede compositie, goede kleuren, goed gedaan

Daar ben ik reeds in de beurt geweest Robbert, maar zou er nooit aangedacht hebben om dit te fotograferen, u heeft dat mooi gedaan, mocht hij iets scheef staan dan geven we hem een duwtje, de hemel is blauw en de boom links is excelent dedail. Mooi zo

La tour semble pencher un peu, mais sinon la composition et la mise au point sont très bonnes

Bonne composition de par les constrastes des couleurs , la tour semble penche un peu sur la droite.
As tu utilsé un filtre ou un post traitement car il semble avoir un contour blanc autour des arbres ?

The tower is high, but the trees are higher... Good for the nature. It seems that the tower is not vertical !

Great shot, Robbert. Beautiful colors and contrast. You framed the tower well with the tree and the branches, but I'm not sure whether it's slightly tilted to the right? I remember "Hilversum" was written on the old radio my parents had when I was a kid. Well captured, a good entry into the "hunt".

A very good POV and a nice compo with the tree branch and the blue sky. There is also a nice one in Rotterdam, but I guess it is a bit far from Hilversum. Very nice shot, Robbert, and a good contribution to the Scavenger Hunt theme.
