Photographer's Note
At Noordwijk beach. I love the silly radio in between. I did not ask for permission (i was leaving the beach and my 3 year old was jerking my arms and legs) so i hope that, if confronted with the picture, these people will not be offended. Do you always check first
Tattooing has been practiced worldwide. The Ainu, the indigenous people of Japan, traditionally wore facial tattoos. Today one can find Berbers of Tamazgha (North Africa), Maori of New Zealand, and Atayal of Taiwan with facial tattoos. Tattooing was widespread among Polynesian peoples and among certain tribal groups in the Taiwan, Philippines, Borneo, Mentawai Islands, Africa, North America, South America, Mesoamerica, Europe, Japan, Cambodia, New Zealand and Micronesia. Despite some taboos surrounding tattooing, the art continues to be popular in many parts of the world.
Thanks

Hello Felicia,
It's a good photo, and with an understood editorial note. As a physicist I would say that the dark areas absorb the light more, and the lighter areas reflect it more. The danger presumably is going to be mostly from the dark dyes. Ultimately, each to his/her own taste. Regarding getting permission from your subject(s) to post their photos, I've grappled with the same issue — but not that much. Take a look at the photo shot 19 years ago, "Rembrandt at 400", in which the great artist has shown one more time, he can put more life into is subject than the haggard tourists might display.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Dag Felicia,
Nice details, including the silly radio (switched off, I guess).
About permission, in this case I guess it's no problem, like the girls in Foz do Arelho.
If it was a front view, I would dare to shoot.
Groetjes,
F.

Ciao felicia,
I find this very beautiful scene, with a beautiful calm atmosphere, I hope only that from the radio good music goes out,
Giorgio
