Photographer's Note

This one i found yesterday om my laptop. It was a little experiment with this sail of a 60-foot Withbread ship.

I take a close of the mainsail, with the sun on the back. Therefore you can see all these different lines and shapes. The sail is made by de famous brand 'North Sail'. I don't no what kind of material it is made of. But i no they are very expensive.

It looks like a huge leaf... Nicely composed shot Robbert, maybe a bit too dark at the right side. But I like it.

Interesting pattern of the sail, i like the near symmetry but wish there was something else as well.... It is a little dark and lacks a bit of contrast IMHO. Good shot.

belle photo Robbert ou tu as très bien joué avec les jeu d'ombres et de lumière naturelles pour créer des teintes très douces.
Le jeu de forme est également très bon avec toutes ces diagonales dans tout les sens .

Very nice shot ! Material used for this mainsail seems to be Mylar (white color). The price is increased by the tri radial cut. A very beautiful close and detailled picture.

Photo ne manquant pas d'originalité. J'aime bien la composition avec ces lignes qui partent en diagonale et les formes géométriques.

A good capture of the sail with the light falling on it from behind, creating a fine play of lines and shapes. I think increasing contrast could enhance this some. Good cropping; I might have tried to clone out that manufacturer's label (?) in the lower left corner though. Pretty nice find on your laptop, Robbert.
