Another picture of a carib regatta. This time not from a pressboat, but from a sailingship. This ships where sailing in a other class than we. It was a trickey one, because i must shoot almost against the sun. But now you can see the wind on the water very good. And i like the wave on the first boat. The where realy fighting eachother.

And another great image Robbert. I really miss this type of activity and weather as easter is really terrible here, raining..
Nice shot in spite of beeing on a sailboat.

Nous voyons que la course est serrée ! Les skyppers ne se font pas de cadeaux et l'équipage met toutes les chances de son côté. Au loin nous apercevons des bateaux qui ne marchent pas à la voile !
Merci pour ces régates toujours intéressantes Robbert.
We see that the running is stringent! Skyppers isn't made of presents and the crew puts all the chances from his part. Far off we perceive boats which don't walk(work) to the sail!

Une belle photo qui complete bien ta série car on voit bien la courses que se mene les bateaux mais ce n'est pas ma préféré notament au niveau de la lumière.

You did well shooting against the sun. Just a bit bright in the lower right corner, but what can one do. The scene is well captured and breathes the action and excitement of the regatta, with multiple boats caught in "tilted action". Wonderful to also see those bigger vessels in the back. Great shot again, Robbert.

Oeps bijna over het hoofd gezien,
Weer een mooie plaat Robbert, niet je mooiste, maar de overtreffende trap is moeilijk meer te bereiken. Fraaie compostitie, het tegenlicht is hier zeker niet in je voordeel, maar het blijft goed. Good job.

Despite the hard light conditions you managed the light and colors very well. I like the glowing water and again, the very low POV. Nice shot, Robbert.

Another marvelous nautical image, Robbert. Composition is very effective. If you sharpened, you may want to try sharpening all but the sea sparkles. I love the angles of the boats' sails.

You have definitely captured the spirit of the race in this shot, Robbert. The glistening sea is very beautiful and the large blue sky makes an excellent background. Well framed.
