Photographer's Note
On this picture you can see how difficult it is to get a dry lens. Not al my pictures are 'dry'. Nevertheless i want to share this picture, because the action is great! I have post a similar picture, but in this one you can see both ships with their masts.
This photo is also taken at the Amsterdam Seaport boatshow. You see te Zest of Belgium and the old Withbread W60 Brunel Sunergy. The Zest had overtake the Brunel. They race here to the last bouy. I take the picture from a RIB on at the North Sea near the IJmuiden harbour. It was sunny with 4 beaufort.
I hope you don't mind the drops on my lens??

Hey Robbert! Superfoto! Goed werk!

Great shot Robbert - you surely the master of sea and boats. Great action shot and I think you lens problems only adds extra to the dramatic situation.
Very fine work - thanks for sharing.

Very beautiful photograph, difficult to execut and dangerous for the material. And the water drops on the ojectif one make the realistic action.
Very good composition and exposure.
Great shot, well done Robert.

Excellente composition.

A great action shot, Robbert. The tilt is very dramatic, and the water dropa on your lens add to this feeling. I looks like an amazing speed, and I always wonder, how do you get such a shrp picture in a stormy sea? Well done.

Wow, this might be one of the best tilts you have captured in any of your boating shots, Robbert. Great action feel from seeing the two boats on the wavy water. I don't mind the drop on your lens at all, I think it gives this scene something genuine and authentical. Well done.
