Heye where is the sun?, a photo from Noord-Holland, South

Photographer's Note

This picture was taken on 42 foot sailingship. We must sail this boat from Rotterdam to the port of IJmuiden. I was very good weather. Sunny, 3 beaufort wind. It was good sailing. The North Sea was calm.

I shoot this picture from another boat. I have post a time ago a bigger shot, where you can see some mast.

Beautiful and graphic depiction of these sails with the sun filtering through to really light up the red and blue ;-)

Very good shot, Robbert. I like how you focused on the sails this time - the colorful one in the foreground, and the more "monochrome" one behind. Interesting lines and patterns that are much enhanced by the backlight, and a good crop. Well done.

A well framed shot, Robbert, with the hazy sun seeming to be at the top of the mast. I like the different shades of blue, white and red caused by the back light. Well seen.
