Photographer's Note

The Hanaberget Commandbunker located in Naerbo, Norway. Three large captured french 28cm railway guns was located here, the area also contained minor guns and positions for close defense. A large radar was also placed here. The guns was fired in a test once, and its said the pressure etc broke a lot of windows on nearby farms.

Today the bunker is open for everyone and have some illustrations of the radar, cannons and the equipment installed at the site. On Duxford airfield there is an entire radardisk of the same type that was installed here.see it here.

The german built a lot of these bunkers, and this link with another bunker located 1200km away from this one shows similarities in construction. They were based on the same basic drawings with only strategic adjustmets.
