Photographer's Note

This photo was shot just after the last one, I thought that this was an interesting image to share with you.
I allways shoot many photos of a motif, some times one works, some times I'm lucky and 2 or 3 work out of 50 or 60 photos.

I think I was quite lucky to get 2 shots of this horse as it was playing that I felt could be shared with you.

Hello Halgeir,

Nicely captured with good timing.Its an agreed fact that photography needs some luck too.Many times one will fail to reproduce what he/she thinks should be in the pic.

Good lighting and clarity.Its nice to see the image cropped and focussed on the subject without much background details which would be distracting.You have done a nice job getting this horse at the right moment, a rare sight to see ...atleast for me.

Great image! Although it would be nice to see the whole tail, the spontaneous actions you captured so well is cause for celebration!

I see very few action photographs on Trek Earth, so I appreciate your contribution. I have recently begun pondering how to capture an image where the subject is dancing a jig, while siting in a chair playing a fiddle. I woulde like to be able to freeze the top of his body while accomplishing something like time lapse that shows the motion of his feet. Photographers that capture motion are a special breed. Thanks! Larry

Well you sertainly like horses, that's for sure.
I must say that I liked your previous horse photo better.
The tail is an obvious point of focus as it has a lot of action in it, unfortunantly it is clipped.
Once again.....not very good...

Well I did see the original photo you made this from and I know it wasn't easy to make the framing good.
