Wild horse, a photo from Rogaland, South

Photographer's Note

This weekend I spent some time in the stable where my girlfriend has her horse. (This one) She let the horse out to play, and as it was galloping I shot a series of photos. I think this one really shows the horse for the beutiful animal that it is. I allso wanted to show you this image now after I passed my finale exam whitch lasted for 2 weeks bouth theory and practical work. I think this image really shows how I feel after passing this... I hope you like it.

I have not edited this other than altering hue and saturation a little bit in photo shop.

A beautiful animal, very well captured... Horses in spring do behave like that, don't they...

Excellent shot with a great sense of movement.
Would have been better without the car and wheelie bin in the background but I don't suppose you could have avoided that.

Hi Halgeir,
It's not easy to capture this sort of action shot but you've done a good job with this pic. The blurred background reduces the distractions and suggest that the viewer focuses on the subject, the horses head, which is nicely focused.

Hi Halgeir, You have well managed to take this panning photo. You have well followed the head movement of the horse with a clear image of the upper body of the horse and a blurred image of the environment and the legs of the horse. The shadow showed us the interesting 3-D allocations. An impressive shot.

Great shot : you have well captured the horse's movement but the head is still clear and we can see its expression! The car behind make us feeling it is a race between them! Well done!

A very nice picture in your collection of horses. I think you are right not to have edited it : although a little blurred, these picture is a great incarnation of movement and freedom.
