Photographer's Note

Rockheim is the national museum of pop and rock music in Norway from the 1950s to today.

When the boat docked at Trondheim, the rock museum was right on the pier. See WS1. No need for a bus or taxi to take you there!
The museum opened in August 2010. It is located in a 1919 grain warehouse that has been renovated. See WS3

The permanent exhibition takes the form of a journey through Norwegian music and cultural history.
It's very interactive and visitors can play instruments, try to mix music ... experience breakdance ...

Temporary exhibitions have been titled "Icons of the 60s" or "Jukeboks" etc ... They also have a Hall of Fame.

This guy in the photo was trying his hand on the electronic organ, drawing patterns on the screen at the same time. He seemed to take himself very seriously while his friend was rather laid back about all this.
