Photographer's Note
Welcome to my homeplace. After one year of travelling it's soothing to be home again. The weather's been fantastic here (like the rest of europe), and this is a shot from my beach.....at 600-700 meters above sealevel it's surrounded by mountains and forests. In the top right corner you see a cabin run by the Norwegian Tourist Asociation, and I can highly recommend this part of Norway. (This may sound a bit patriotic, the pic not being awsome, but look at it just as a peek into my little sphere)

You are very lucky to live in such an environment. And you didn't talk about the cow ? Is it so natural for you to have cows on a beach that you don't even mention it ?
Happy to know your place !

How strange! A cow on a beach, this looks somewhat unusual to me! The colours are great, the air looks very clear. Nice atmosphere, nice shot. (I wouldn't say the weather has been fantastic here is Strasbourg: it's been really very hot and dry at least for the past ten days and we're starting to experience all sorts of problems because of that... In fact your photo looks very refreshing ;-))

I also find the cow interesting. I would crop the bottom portion the big clump of dry sand.

What's to be apologetic about? I find this very interesting - how Norwegian people go to the beach (with their cows). We always think of Norway as being a cold place, so this is different.

Oh my! Does that little boy in the bottom right look like the stereotypical Norwegian or what? I have Norwegian roots, and a very good friend living in Norway, yet I have never visited. I really must get there. Technically, although this is not a super high quality shot, it is pleasing nonetheless. I like the diagonal line of the water, and the greens in the background are very pleasant. Perhaps having one person being more prominent to serve as an anchor could help a little?
Like everyone else, I am very curious about the cow. Seems a little odd to me, and I would love to know why it is there.

hehe me too... I am curious about the cow as well.
considering your info that you´re 600-700 meters above sea level, is this a lake, a river?
I personally adore to see the different tones/textures of the sand.
well seen. the very core of TE. Terje!

This is funny and pretty. I know I'm not very helpful but your home seems to be a nice place.
