Another photo in my series from the island group Lofoten, up north.
To link all the minor islands together a network of road bridges can be found today.

This is well seen and composed. The curve leads our eye out of the frame but back again from the left and to the background, exploring all the image without distraction. Well done.

Good idea for an interesting compo, as Gal says, thought the horizon looks a bit tilted to me.

Thanks Jack - a very fine capture from this remote place - you spotted this sight nicely and made a good job getting this angle.

I added this to my theme - since the calm life a try contrast to the hectic life of San Fransisco.

Very nice and interesting landscape. I particularly like how the road at the bottom gets cut letting us imagine how it connects to the bridge ahead (if it connects...).

Good composition, Jack. Not sure about necessity of the road on the foreground, though.

And one question. I see many reports from our auto travellers about Lofotens. Are they really worth a visit? Already planning next tour, he-he....

Very original composition with the curves extending from the road to the bridges. I like the soft lighting, bringing out a very nice mood.

Beautiful road all in curves. Is the first paln of the road connected tot he bridge? If yes it would be good to have take this curve to. It would be made a big inverted "S".

A fine deep perspective as the eye follows the road over the bridges. And the bare landscape of the outer coast is allways special. I have spent many vacations on Hareidlandet.

Another detail, this bridgetype is a lot more common in Norway than in Sweden and maybe that is the reason for you having a Norwegian word for it (fritt frem bygg) while we use a German word than no Swede realy understands (freivorbau). Well, we do have a Swedish word but nobody uses it...
