Here we are again at the Polish Independence Day celebrations at Pilsudki's Square in Warsaw. I think this shot is important. Yes, we see flags of our country and of Warsaw but what do these flags represent to me? They were abundant they were being sold in vast numbers by merchants set up on the side of the square. The merchants had several other types of paraphenelia such as pins and buttons.

The flags I'm sure, are MADE IN CHINA. The flags cost cents to produce and could have been printed into Canadian, French, Italian, American, Swedish or whatever flags actually.

These flags are available to us, capitalism is here, it's thriving. That day we celebrated a day of Independence. It was a day to cherish a free Poland.

Without any cynicism I say, we were able to do it with our "Made in China" flag like any other free country.
