DANKÓW (Tankow) - village laid 13 km on northern west from Strzelce Krajeńskie, near road to Barlinek. Jez lies near south bank. Dankowskie (Wielgie) and northern Lake Kinołęka ( Small Dankowskie), by which river swims Pełcz. The locality the laid in beautiful surroundings of forests of Forest Gorzowskiej, in borders of zone the protective Barlinecko - the Gorzowskiego of Lanscape Park. Halt of PKS. Shop. Camping field. Agro - touristic farms. First historical mention about this place comes from with 1300 year. In times one's glory city locality be defined often. In 1347 year margrave Ludwik remembers in one's letter about this place defining it literally "city Tankow”. Danków however he never received real say municipal. Surrounding contemporary cities walls were raised also never. In lock 1380 year be exchanged in Dankow defined as "hus Tankow". He was in grounds of earth fortifications of town, Kittlitz belonged to rhodium. Danków later was with Teutonic Knights who in 1452 year took over locality object of dispute of this house and lock. There are no no traces after lock at present. Later Tankow (Danków) he altered a dozen or so razy owner. He as locality had chance on staying mattering centre, yet numerous fires crossed out such future.
In village Neo - Gothic from ok. 1840 r. surrounded with brick wall church. Moreover the team of farm buildings from XIX in., built in Neo - Gothic style from brick, palace rebuilt on rest object annexe, at present not used. Over lake lanscape park about surface ok. 15 h with native trees' numerous species and strange (monumental lime - tree and oak).
