Photographer's Note
The spring is here…The Spring is here…
continues....
From the deepest drawer...
I know... I know...
There are already 78956 fotkas of the windows on TE
(a photo symbol representing the deep involvement into the world of an art photography (I guess ?)
Springtime cleaning in my city...
Tulips, daffodils, magnolias and... Yes... The windows !!!
The windows must be spotlessly shine...
..................
Sorry for the presence of the human element in there...
As usual - my bad luck. I really have to learn how to be a successful photographer and to learn how to avoid the people in my photographs. :-)))
Oh, well... Like it or not...
Here it is: A window no. 78957

1977…
It was a very good year…
I just got me the Practica Super TL, few lenses, photo bag and a tripod ( all together - three years of an average worker's salary back then, in the shiit-commie Poland ( three years if you don't sleep, eat and breathe for that period of time, but of course).
The purchasing of the camera put me in the position of a photography expert and I have started right away giving the professional advices to those less intelligent than myself ( No…The TE wasn't even existing back then.
We honored our photos with a healthy arguing, calling the dirty names and jumping to each other throats - constantly.
Gosh… If we only had the green makakas back then ( sigh).

George you continue to amaze me with your sharp eye, quick wit and glib tongue, insulting the rest of the community with your photographs, so foreign and so incredible, so good and so alien like you are from some other world of photo-artists who actually give their work to the world, if the world just finds it and looks at it and... well, compares it to the rest of the world. I am always intrigued by the fotkas you lay out there, seemingly with little thought to the reason for the shot, or reason for putting it out there, for making us all take notice because we cannot not click on your thumbnail even when we know it will be something that makes us groan or swoon or laugh or cry. These photos seem so simple, so easy, why cannot more of us find these same sorts of photographs, say, in the old Walgreens envelope, discarded with the negatives? I mean, maybe we just didn't notice that these were actually great shots, so we didn't show them to anyone. I mean, since they were so easy, right?
Wanting to find similar, nearly as good fotkas in my camera, in my brain I have actually tried to make them happen. You cannot make them happen, I find out, they just happen and you have to be fast enough, bright enough and open minded enough to grab them from the air and light before they disappear into non-memories.
So this is why there are so many photos with no people, of flowers and rocks and animals and other things that do not change, somewhat un-dynamic, because they do not vanish into the air and light as quickly as they happen. This is why some photographers make those photographs, because the rocks and animals and flowers and buildings will not do something unexpected and blur out the special photo they are making.
But you know all this, George, you want to let us all know, too. And embarrass us with your fotkas and ten or twenty or so little green smiling faces. So I will add to your collections and be happy not to have some Polish fellow calling me dirty names and jumping into my throat...
Oh yeah, to say something regarding this mistakenly human populated fotka - well, it's nice, seems like you were watching from behind a dumpster in the alley, though. Good thing you weren't caught...

The art of cleaning?
The art of photographing! :)
Behind the fence. A glimpse in the world of the other. She doesn't look like it, but she is aware of your presence. The smile on her face. She knows. And through your lens, we see a woman cleaning the window, prisoner behind the fence, becoming a Cinderella. She is the most beautiful woman in the world. She is the Queen to be.
Charming. Truly.

Hi George,
How nicely dark. The darkest thoughts come to mind seeing this compo. What was there on the window that made cleaning necessary? ....

Sensational. Amazingly rough George. Amazingly sensual. Shamefully indiscreet.
An allegory of communist Poland?
Love it bro!

No tak. Sztuka mycia okien...
A i sąsiedzi przestaną wytykać palcami ;))
