Szczeliniec the Great (German; Große Heuscheuer, Czech,. Velká Hej¹ovina) - the highest peak (919 m asl) in the National Park of Table Mountains. It belongs to the Crown of Polish Mountains and is one of the biggest tourist attractions Sudetenland, the reserve landscape and panoramic terraces with panoramic Sudetes Mountains.

Despite the small amount of absolute peak is visible from afar as a rock block of trapezoidal shape, covered with pine woods. Sandstone surface of the summit is weathered and cracked, so that creates various forms of rock-like in appearance of people and animals (Camel, Mammoth, Elephant, Hen, Monkey, Dog, turtle, Owl, Armchair of Great-grandfather) and the deep ravines and corridors (Hell, Devil's Kitchen ) forming a labyrinth of rocks. Interestingly there are two rocks: Princess Emily and the Heart of Mountain Spirit, which, despite significant weight, you can move with very little effort. Inside the many corridors there is a unique microclimate, and in some places the snow lasts until July.

At the peak of winding trail leads consisting of 665 steps arranged in 1814 by Franz Pabl, a elder of nearby village Karlow. From the north side trail leads from the village Pasterka (Shepherdess) now deserted , to pass between Little and Great Szczeliniec. At the roundabout, one-way road with a length of about 5 km, running Szczeliniec plateau, there is also a Szwajcarka lodge built in 1846 in the Tyrolean style (then as Schweizerei). Admission into the reserve of the peak parts of the mountain is payable during the tourist period.
