Photographer's Note

Royal Hotel in Cracow - hotel put at the street St Gertrudy 26-29, in the immediate vicinity of the Royal Castle on the Wawel. The hotel occupies four historic tenements; oldest from them - XIX-century - was built in the Art Nouveau style. Before the World War II other hotel was located in every of tenements: Royal, Union, the City and Garrison. Here German soldiers settled in the period of the World War II, after the war a Command fit into 1954 of Cracow military district, next the casino and the garrison hotel.

The hotel had a lot of eminent personages staying, among others of presidents and Prime Ministers of the Republic. Heads were also guests other countries.

At guests' disposal 120 rooms stay, including stylish luxury apartments, as well as meeting halls, the restaurant and the café. The hotel offers its services in the standard of three stars.
