Czaplinek is a town in Drawsko County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.

Exaltation of the Cross Church - This impressive post-evangelical church was built in 1829 - 1830 in the form of a Greek cross in the Neo-Classicism style with some Neo-Romanesque features. Carl Friedrich Schinkel was an author of this temple design. He was one of the most fomous German architects in the fist half of the XIX century. Looking from outside on walls of transepts and a chanel, you can see stepped portals with tympanums. Inside the church, on the left, there is a still existing gallery, one of two, with an organ from 1862. It was produced by a then well known company B. Gruneberg from Szczecin. The tremendous wall polychromy was painted in 1954 by Wladyslaw Drapiewski. And mosaics were installed in the eighties of the XX century. You should also remember to have a good look at wooden sculptures at side altars. They were made by a local sculptor, Edward Szatkowski.

Hello Tadeusz,

The long carpet leads the eyes to the altar. The good light enhances the colors and have allowed for sharp details of tre sober but beaitiful church interior.

Cette photo démontre une très belle technique. La symétrie est excellente et les couleurs sombres sont bien rendues. L'image est profonde et nette.

nie miales tutaj chyba latwego zadania ze swiatlem(mam na mysli to okno po prawej stronie kadru),ale poradziles sobie znakomicie z dobraniem odpowiedniej ekspozycji.Znakomita jakosc obrazu oraz bardzo dobrze i rownomiernie naswietlony kadr.Poza tym swietna symetria i oczywiscie ostrosc.
Brawo za wykonanie i prezentacje tego pieknego wnetrza Kosciola!
