You don’t take me seriously so I will build my own Eiffel Tower.

A wooden topography tower. I never could understand what these structures were for but there were thousands of them in Poland. Does anybody know what roll they played? They were about 30 metre-high scattered across the whole country, mostly in forest areas.

To naprawde archiwalne zdjecie :o) Przypuszczam, ze to wieza triangulacyjna, z grubsza biorac cala sprawa polega na tym, ze cala Polska podzielona byla na szereg trojkatow, w rogach ktorych staly wieze, sluzyly one do wykonywania pomiarow topograficznych i geodezyjnych oraz okreslania wspolrzednych. Metoda triangulacji polegala na mierzeniu wielkosci wszystkich katow oraz jednego lub wiecej bokow w takiej sieci skladajacej sie z trojkatow.
A samo zdjecie ciekawe.

No istotnie ciekawa wie¿a Eiffla z drewna. Za sam pomys³ masz dwa punkty. Kolorki niczego sobie.

Hello Roman,
An excekkent feature shot here, which somewhat reminds me of the Jimna fire tower north of Brisbane. A very impressive shade range of blue across the shot. The only suggestion would be to try and reduce the grainy effect seen at the top, and to include the last section of the very top for height and scale purposes. All and all, this is a well lit, presented, and proportional shot, of some unique architecture.
