I finally posted again yesterday night after a long break. I want to present a series of shots that I took during the November 11th celebrations of Polish Independence, a very important date for our nation that has experienced so many encroachments on its sovereignty.

The children you see here were out with the father that day. They mark the newest generation, a generation that will have no memory of the bad times, the times of war, the times of communism. They are the hope of Poland. They will only know about Poland's harsh past through their parents or their grandparents, their teachers and books. They sit here on a tank that will now just act as a reminder of those times. Something for the kids to look at, sit on, but not fight in, we hope.
