Photographer's Note

This actual Post is dedicated to the "Week of the Sea" that have place at Horta town at Faial Island at the second week of August 2005 that I will post also another ones in future. During this week there many nautic events and also popular and tradition festivities in the town, that you can see in this post with a sportiv activity when I was arriving by boat from Pico to Horta.

The weather was a mist of nice sky in direction to the sun and grey sky to the opossite side, the time was 2 near 2-3 hours from the sunset and I had the sunrays at my near left by 90-120 degrees.

In my Photo Information YOU have two WS-Workshops that are complementary or near views and are also good important ways of comunicate and share information. Before with a Pause or a little moment SEE also these two WS pictures as complementary way of view and information if YOU don't mind.

The first one is a View of Horta at Faial Island taken of the boat and the second is a shot of this r nautic sportiv show off sequence.

These beautiful Islands are located in the vast Atlantic Ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America.

These two Islands Faial and Pico are part of the five Central Islands, that are visited all the year for several thousand of tourists and sea navigators from all the world. It's like a world navigation network!

NOTE: This current Travel Serie would be these particular Atlantic Islands with harmonious mountains, sea scenery, walles and dolphins, cows with milk and excelent cheese for all the world, great wonderfull volcanic sceneries and nature and I will try to catalog in different selective ways to post.

These are natural and preserved nature wonders that have Sailors, Solitaire navigators and important world tourism and preserved Sportiv Game-Fishing with people linked to United States, Canada, Brazil, Europe and also naturally to Continental Portugal.

Bonjour Fernando,
malgré un ciel couvert, mais tout de même de bonnes lumières, tu as réussi une photo parfaitement exposée, étonnant d'ailleurs d'avoir un tel 'figé' dans les goutes d'eau avec une vitesse de 1/100.
Une photo très nette partout malgré cette grande ouverture.
Beaucoup de mouvement.

Hello Fernando. A vivid scene you managed to show here with the speedy movement of the water activity in the foreground, presented against a good background of the seaside village. Very sharp and it seems I could count every single drop of water (but I will not :). Well captured.

Je suis surpris par la qualité photographique obtenue, cette image prise d'un bateau demande des mains d'acier pour ne pas bouger !
J'aime l'effet de la gerbe d'eau émanant du jet ski. Cette prise de vue est très bien composée : sujet principal, arrière-plan. Merci également pour les photos en atelier qui sont très belles.

The sharpness and details are excellent; even the water drops are sharp. I prefer the composition of your WS jetskier as he is coming into the picture while on this one he is leaving. However the background on this one shows us more information. Well done.

Hi Fernando, An impressive capture of the actions in this picture. I like the view of the water shot out from the action and the curve and the waves created by the water jet. It looks that is a fun activity.
I like the shooting angle to have the coast and included in the picture, providing a better view and better contrast in comparing to a possible ocean only shot.

Estou com problemas no meu computador e estou escrevendo em um emprestado. Gostei muito da esteira cheia de curvas feitas pelo jet-ski e este jato d'água que ele levanta como uma baleia. A cidade se espraiando sobre a suave colina é linda. Excelente enquadramento, POV, cores e nitidez.

Une prise de vue intéressante où l'on remarque le scooter des mers qui prend des risques en frôlant presque le hors-bord.
La scène est parfaitement photographiée et bien muvementée.

Bom dia Fernando,
Espectaculares imagens da mota de água com a vista da bela cidade da Horta por detrás. Adoro as duas fotos em ws - qualquer delas davam excelentes posts! Ambiente de diversão numa foto cheia de dinamismo, provocado pelo movimento da água e da espuma em várias direcções. As cores e a luminosidade estão perfeitas e o céu enublado é magnífico. Para uma captura de acção tirada de um barco a nitidez de imagem está muito boa. Parabéns!
