Near Pico Mountain by Boat (I), a photo from Acores, Islands

Photographer's Note

This is a Picture taken by boat just near Pico mountain and Island at Azores. You can see another distant view post taken from Faial Island here: Link and a partial view of the BOAT here: Link

As I said this picture was taken from a boat just near the Pico Mountain with this great blue sky and with only a few of clouds at the top what is a very rare event. Technical notes and Information: The weather was good, the Sun was near backiwards of me, it was a few brighty moment and just near the midday.

ISO=80, Focal Lenght=30mm with a little lower cropping and a smell of Contrast and Hue after reduction for post and so softly filtered by Neatimage for reduction factors.

Additional Information: In my Photo Information YOU have two WS-Workshops that are other views taken at this Sea channel between Faial and Pico Island, showing in a timespan of 2 minutes the same place.

These beautiful Islands are located in the vast Atlantic Ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America. They are natural and preserved nature wonders that have Sailors, Solitaire navigators and important world tourism and preserved Sportiv Game-Fishing with people linked to United States, Canada, Brazil, Europe and also naturally to Continental Portugal.

Bonjour Fernando,
Image audacieuse avec cet élément de bateau, mais je crois qu'en fin de compte, cela ajoute du piment à la composition et donne un rendu plus fort sur ce mont bossu qui aime à s'étaler jusqu'à l'eau d'un bleu qui contraste à merveille avec le ciel.
Très bien fait. Comme toujours, la note est très intéressante.

Hi Fernando,
I like the long slope of the mountain, under the dark blue water but above the beautiful blue sky, the boat was this perhaps a catamaran?
Again a lovely summer picture, middle of the winter.

Olá Fernando,
Existem obras da natureza que, pela sua beleza, a gente não se cansa de admirar. Outro dia falava sobre o Pão de Açúcar e o Corcovado aqui no Brasil. O mesmo acontece com o Monte do Pico, que como o Fuji apresenta uma qualidade estética - de proporções - quase perfeita. Esta é a tonalidade de azul que eu mais gosto, céu e mar perfeitos. Excelente texturas das encostas verdes.

Original composição que é apresentada aqui. O deseiquilibrio pesando para o lado direito da foto, dá-nos a sensação dinâmica do barco em movimento. Gosto do enquadramento do pico pelo barco. Boa profundidade de campo e controle da luminosidade, que nestas situações tende a ficar com o fundo demasiado exposto.
Como é habitual, bom complemento com outras fotos igualmente interessantes.

Hola Fernando,

Una composición con mucha calidad en cuanto a definición. El uso del lente polarizador dio como resultado unos magníficos tonos azules.

El paisaje obtenido tiene muy buena profundidad. De lo que no estoy muy seguro es del punto de vista. No me convence mucho el haber incluido esa parte del barco. Ya que llama mucho la atención y desvía la mirada del hermoso paisaje que me parece debería ser el punto focal.

Pero aprecio mucho el esfuerzo de Fernando, que esta siempre en busca de formas más expresivas para mostrar a los demás.

Great point of view Fernando, interesting low point of view, well framed with this part of the boat on the top right. The blue tones of the water and sky contrast nicely, excellent depth to see the village, thnaks for showing us this gorgeous place, well done.

A vivid and effective shot taken from the boat. I really like the colour and contrast here and the low slung view of the island. The puffy cloud adds character and the portion of boat overhanding gives perspective and helps balance. Well seen and captured.
