Beauty Places-Seven Cities & Lagoon, a photo from Acores, Islands

Photographer's Note

Returning to my previous Serie about Azores, I post the small but beautiful village of SEVEN CITIES, that is bordered by the green lagoon, in the west part of S.Miguel Island. Here is a well known place for tourists and photos known in the world.

S.Miguel is the main Island situated in Azores that is a nice beautiful Portuguese archipel of nine islands situated in the vast Atlantic Ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America and also a half way between north and Equater hemisphere.

Cristina, a very well kwown person here that is known by the nickname SNUGGLEAPHAGUS, have another angle picture of this place and for a very important complementary information addition see here: Link

A partial view of the GREEN LAGOON, that is one of the great and more international known Island Volcanic Lagoons in this Island and the village at the left side is called in English "Seven Cities Town". The Sun at my right near at this hour but in a nice Summer Vivaldi Simphony.

NOTE 1: This is a approach with my Wide Zoom camera and I only cropped a small part of the lower base of the picture. In the WS-Workshop you must see another complementary shot and view with my Zoom Camera to the center of this village.

As usual I will post two pictures and ways of view with my eyes, cameras and tecnichal results and so two pictures in this particular post or links.

AZORES is like a VIVALDI Four Seasons of simphony and weather condition in a natural atmosphere and ambience, also in a daily life cycle but with good warm climate.

AZORES have harmonious mountains, sea scenery, walles and dolphins, cows, milk and excelent cheese for all the world, black and green Tea, pinneaple and also a great wonderfull volcanic sceneries, nature contrast and lagoons.

This is a natural and preserved Island that have many people linked to United States, Brazil, and also naturally to Continental Portugal.

Hi Fernando, A well composed picture. I like the view of the mountain surrounded valley with the green environment, the blue water, and the read-white buildings. A well captured picture, a beautiful place indeed. I would leave a little more room to show the mountain top. It is still a very well taken picture.

Lindissima. Uma composicao muto boa com lindas cores, mas nas 7 cidades tudo e sempre bonito. Como ja escreveu o Wes um pouco mais de espaco em cima para nao cortar o resto do monte seria bom. Mas assim tambem fica bem. Tenho uma foto exactamente igual a do workshop. Numa das casas no cnato direito da sua foto compramos um bleo pao caseiro e queijo de cabra fresco.
esta foto ficou lindissima ( para nao variar as suas fotos sao sempre lindas).

there is some king of volcanic swimming pool at right and this one is well equiped with cabins at left :)))
To be serious this is a very atteactive view fom this place, a great landscape and I like it

Bonjour Fernando,
une magnifique prise de vue très panoramique, POV qui permet de voir tout ce sympathique village et ses alentours.
Je trouve l'image pas assez contrastée, mais le WS qui a été fait, lui l'accentue beaucoup trop.
Je vais donc me risquer à en faire un aussi en espérant qu'il te plaira.

This is a very lovely valley Fernando. By your notes it looks like a great place to retire. You have a lovely capture here. I love thos hills and how neatly the town is tucked into the landscape.

Great view really,what a nice place and city,I love this kind of places very much,the sea,mountain and the city all in a great combination.
the quality is not as your best,is it because of the strong light and some haze?!
The eyse like to see the view with lively colors,But overall you know that I like it very much,very well composed and great POV you had,too,Thanks for sharing.

Un très beau panorama sur une ville nichée dans un écrin de verdure et qui bénéficie d'un superbe plan d'eau.
La ville a su garder une taille à visage humain. Point de tours de grande hauteur. L'environnement est particulièrement beau.

This is a pleasing and sweeping panorama shot, taken from an excellent POV. The town appears to be slumbering in the cradle of the mountain. It appears to be a beautiful place, with the lush greenery and the water lapping the shores. Well seen and captured. Regards.

I like the c shape of the city housing. Excellent color & lighting, although it might be good, to increase the contrast slightly, to compensate for the haze. Well done. Parabens!

Penso que um pouco de contraste ficaria melhor pese embora as condiçoes e momentos em que tiraste esta excelente foto. Não defendo a original ou outras versões imaginativas por WS e PP. A duvida e a realidade sao por vezes iguais ou divergentes. Por isso o beneficio da duvida!
