Santo Amaro, a photo from Coimbra, North

Photographer's Note

This is the Chapel of Santo Amaro, situated in a mountain called Serra da Boa Viagem, a few kilometres far from the city of Figueira da Foz. A couple of years ago there was a big fire on this mountain and this chapel was one of the few places that escaped.
I've taken it during a walking route and what really caught my eye here were the lichens that I've tried to include in the composition in spite of the light because it was taken by lunch time.

Hi Ana,
Nice touch incorporating those tree mushrooms in the background ... actually the tree trunk itself helps anchor your main subject which is the chapel. Good corner shot to give the chapel a good perspective. Well captured and composed with good image and color quality. Well done! tfs and have a nice weekend.

Hi Ana,

A very niec shot you have here. What I like the most is the great exposure of the sky. I tis not like too brigh that may distract this picture. Also very nice that the house is in focus of the great light there.

Olá Anabela,
good POV and even in that bright sunlight good textures on the walls of this little charming church. Colours and sharpness are well done. The trunk with its lichens is a very good addition. I would have taken a bit less from the trunk or the whole one.
