The Lost Village II, a photo from Guarda, North

This is a lovely village located in one of the many valleys near Estrela Mountain (that you can see in the background). This village is named "Cabeça" that in english means "Head" ;))) which is a curious name to give to a place...maybe their inhabitants are called the "lices" ;))))))

This place is in a transition region in terms of geology, from granitic rocks to shale ones...so, as you can see there are already many houses made only with shale, which gives a wonderful arquitecture to the village in my opinion.

I called it a lost village cause is located in a deep valley with bad roads to access it and as you can see looks like its a ghost place in the middle of nowhere :)

la version large est tres bien assemblé et comporte de beaus détails. La photo de nuit est pas evidente et je ne suis pas un expert mais la je doit dire que c'est le genre de resultat qui est plutot convainquant. Bien vu Marco le cliche est agreable a regarder.

What a wonderful place, Marco. You made a beautiful night panorama that really has a lot of pretty detail and color - the houses on the hillside look nice the way they are illuminated, and the silhouettes of the hills and mountains make for a very fine background. Your stitching work turned out pretty darn good. Well done!

Great mixing, mister larger version!!
It looks like a magical pace you're not supposed to see. The effect of the lights is great ebcause of the white walls. Still a lot of detail for a late evening shot! very nice

Very nice, Marco. I think it must not be easy to keep the same exposure on 4 nightshots.. Unless you adapt exposure in postprocessing, when merging ?

Yes! This one is also nice. Absolutely great! unusual panoramic with a perfect tone density and exposition. The night view on this village is really very nice, and nicely expressed with talent here. Great job.

Your moving to fast for me Marco. You can't post such lovely picturs like this when i'm not at home and don't have the time to explore TE ;) Thsi is really beautifull. The light is amazing. The more pictures i se from Portugal the stronger is the feeling that i have to go there. Mabye this summer...
