Just a break in my B&W series. Today I'm posting this photo from a windmill near Peniche.
This one was shot just before sunrise and as I was shooting against the light I tried to get the windmill's silhouette and that gorgeous sky behind it.

great shot, Pedro, looks like the windmill is mixing the colours :) I like a lot how you have composed this photo with the tiny structures in the distance. also, I agree with the decision to leave all details out, I find the dark silhouettes perfectly focuses attention on shapes and colours.

beautiful capture indeed! I agree with your choice to leave all he details out, compo works perfectly well here and the silhouette of the windmill against the beautiful sky is something beautiful to look at and really it makes the difference here. A flawless shot!!!

Great job capturing the brilliant colors of the morning sky. I like how you used the silhouette of the windmill too. It is also interesting to see the new style windmill in the background. I remember seeing some of these old windmills on the hilltops outside of Lisboa. Are they protected?
