Monsaraz

Photographer's Note

The Nativity scene is already in Monsaraz, like it happens every year. I haven't been there yet this year but I've searched and found several I took last year. This year I'm showing it in a different way, in b&w and with a frame. I've never been a big fan of frames but this time I've added one.

The Nativity of Monsaraz attracts many visitors every year. It has around 40 real size characters, created by the sculptor Teresa Martins, that are placed all through the village. You can find them in the most amazing places. There are beggers sitting on the stairs of the church, a woman taking water from the well, women and children in the streets... If we follow their direction, we'll find the nativity scene.
I found this one sitting on a bench, near the wall of the castle.

I'm posting this photo to Marie Louise (maloutim), who likes this event a lot.

Gostei da foto, em P&B deu uns ares de mistério, com esta personagem sentada, a espera do Natal. Incrível como passou rápido, parece que foi outro dia que apresentaste as outras fotos do ano passado...
Impressionante a expressividade da figura, apesar de ter poucos traços.

uma imagem muito bonita. a opção pelo B&P é perfeita, gosto do boneco com tema bíblico e da posição dele no banco rústico, com o belo padrão da parede de pedra ao fundo. ficou um lindo trabalho, tanto o seu quanto o de quem colocou o boneco ali

Bom dia Anabela, lembro-me bem desta série que substitui o elemento humano de carne e osso e que é muito mais fácil de fotografar sem ficarmos constrangidos ;-) O preto e branco ficou bom, embora eu acredite que iria gostar mais da versão a cores. Gosto das texturas da parede.

Lembro-me muito bem das fotos de à 1 ano deste acontecimento que se repete todos os anos(?)em Monsaraz, Ana.
Mas esta opção pelo B&W resultou muito bem aqui nesta imagem, embora nesta data festiva gosto de ver as coisas mais a cores mesmo que estejam negras :)
Então e a tua visita ao Vietname , correspondeu ás expectativas? Gostava de ver um poste diferente daqueles que postaste pois esses não mostram as gentes nem a cultura ou arquitectura local. Eu gosto do TE por essa partilha e como certamente nunca irei ao Vietname gostava de ver essas fotos.Pedir não custa.
