Photographer's Note

Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca) is a cape which forms the most western point of both Europe and Portugal. It belongs to the municipality of Sintra, west os Lisboa district.
It is located 40 kms west of Lisboa, and 18 kms from Sintra inserted on National Park Sintra-Cascais.
A rock with the inscription 'where the land ends and the sea begins' from Luis de Camões masterpiece 'Lusiadas' also has inscripted the coordinates of the place (38º47'N,9º30W).
The cliff rises 140 mts above sea level and has one the most impressive views of the portuguese coasts.
To have an idea of the dimensions of the place just compare the size of the persons to the lighthouse.
