Photographer's Note
Once in a while I have to post a photo of my favorite activity in Alentejo. The absence of cars and the ondulation of the landscape are perfect for cycling, making it a real pleasure.
Just imagine...rolling down this road and pass under that arch made of trees...hearing the sounds of Nature...and the soft sound of your wheels speeding on the smooth asfalt.

Hi I love the POV looking right down the road after the biker, I could not work out at first that the trees were overhanging the road, the composition is very good & excellent focus & depth, the colours are perfect & so is the light, a great shot, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Ola Ricardo,
I really like all you cycling photos and this one completes your collection beautifully. Good idea to have the dotted line start off from the corner the cyclist slightly off-centered in the compo. That arch of tree is amazing!
Regards, Brigitte
P.S. Why don't you make a personal theme to group your photos, instead of having all those seperate links in your note?

Bem relaxante. Consegue-se ouvir o "som do silêncio".
Bem bonito.

Boa noite,
F

Olá Ricardo,
nice warm colours but you are always behind ;-)
The arch by the trees is really nice and the road going through it move like waves. You change the road into green.

All this greenery in February! I love the way the trees are forming an arch over the road. You timed your shot perfectly just as Ana was about to go through the arch. I'm glad you left the part in above the arch by using portrait format, and you framed the image for the white lines to lead the viewer into the scene. Very good shot.

Hi Ricardo,
The undulating roads provide the perfect opportunity for a photo like this. I think I had seen one of your previous ones. I can imagine what it must feel like riding down that road. By the way, why no cars? Is this road only for cyclists?

Hi Ricardo,
Lovely place where the road is covered by lush foliage on the lower ground. And it really is fun to cycle when the terrain is so varying and road in good condition.
Man, that looks like summer to me.

Olà Ricardo,
Smart inclusion of the steep road in FG which leads the viewer directly to the cyclist naturally framed by the tree arch. Beautiful vegetation and nice luminosity. The other posts are great too.
Cheers

I remember all your cyclist photos, very well...The ups & downs of the roads make great photo opportunities, but your timing was very critical here & you've got that right. Here Ana is just about the cross the arch formed by the trees as well as on the descent. Deep, deep perspective, as we see the road beyond. Very well done

Felicitaciones.
Que pases un buen fin de semana.

Hi Ricardo,
Very nice how you used the hills and the road to give the photo a good depth. It looks like a steep road, so the biker really has to work. I like the way the threes are growing over the road. It gives a good tunnel effect.

seria a CEE o fim ?
abraços
