Photographer's Note

Parque das Nações (English: Nations' Park) is a leisure, commercial and residential area in Lisbon, Portugal. It covers an extensive area in northeastern Lisbon next to the Tagus estuary, formerly used for mainly industrial purposes. The area underwent a tremendous transformation in the 1990s when it was chosen as the location for the Expo '98 World Exhibition. After the exhibition, the area got its current name (although it is not uncommon for the Portuguese to still refer to it as "Expo"), and more transformations occurred such as the new Vasco da Gama shopping mall, the Lisbon's International Fair complex, hotels and many new office and residential buildings. Many attractions built for the Expo '98 remained and keep drawing visitors, such as the Oceanarium, one of the world's biggest aquariums. An estimated 15.000 people currently live in the Nations' Park, which is halved between the Lisbon and Loures municipalities, effectively splitting the local government of the area. There is a movement of citizens requesting the Lisbon's half to annex the one belonging to Loures, thereby integrating the entire area within the Lisbon municipality.

Well, this is a must!
This fall makes a great subject and you captured well the drops of water. I like the W&B which makes the image more graphic, showing well those plays of lights and shades.
Very incisive and with a great visive impact.

Excellent B&W shot with beautiful contrasts well collected. I like the POV very efficience and well selecetd with the waterspring which learn the glance. Interesting element of human life with the black silhouets on the right of the image.

i see that you like to use long perspective lines in your compositions, seems to be a theme in alot of your shots - and it works, because they look great.
wonderful graphical effect of movement caught in still motion, and again, on the angle. the BW version looks fantastic, i probably wouldn`t have thought of that!

Very good this composition in B & W, takes more strength and contrast, I like the effect of this curtain of cascading water, the image has a good perspective.

fantastic idea very well realized. I like very much the B&W here. The falling water makes a nice curve and a pleasant tunnel and framing for the view behind. Some people add an action and increase interest.

I think the WS color version is more attractive , but it's only my oppinion.
Great view under the waterfall on the modern park - in the color WS the blue sky emerging through the water very clearly.

The scene gives a strange feeling with this artificial waterfall!
Excellent point of view that results in great lines for the composition, sharp fine details in the contrasty black and white...

I know this waterfall and i must say that i found one of the most original and fun idea. I remember it wa svery warm when we visit this place and the freshness of the waterfall was very welcome.
