Hello friends,
No time to shoot new pictures so I'll put more of this church in Miramar Beach and the small chapel now famous:), many of you already know this place for my pictures here is more a different view:)

Capela do Senhor da Pedra - Miramar

The Lord of the Stone Chapel is located in the parish in Gulpilhares, municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, Oporto district and is located by the sea and is based on a rock.
History

It was built in the seventeenth century, of hexagonal plan with a main altar and two side altars and gilded Baroque / Rococo. It has diverse religious statuary, emphasizing the image of Christ crucified. The pilgrimage to the Lord of the Stone is one of the most typical of Vila Nova de Gaia and the parish of Gulpilhares is a party too old to be held annually on the beaches of Sr.Stone on Trinity Sunday and continues until Tuesday following Monday.
The origin of the worship of the Lord Christ in the Chapel of the Stone may have originated in ancient pagan worship of the naturalist, the pre-Christian peoples, whose gods were worshiped in nature, was subsequently converted to Christianity. The market next to the entrance of the chapel, is a tile panel, monochrome blue, with the following inscriptions:

Moi aussi je n'ai pas eu le temps de prendre de photos dernièrement et je dois faire un retour en arrière. Souvent on trouve de jolies photos qu'on avait pas trop remarquées avant comme celle-ci. Merveilleux contraste de couleurs entre l'avant-plan et le magnifique ciel. La petite chapelle sur le haut du rocher, bien placée dans la composition ajoute de l'intérêt à la photo.

this is a lovely composition. the sand is a lovely warm colour and contrasts very well against the blue sky which is tremendous. the clouds have a great dramatic feel to them. you have positioned the church in the frame very nicley. great picture.

aquí nos ofreces otra buena composición basada en esta preciosa capilla situada en la playa, mediante un encuadre muy equilibrado, que deja el espacio suficiente a la playa y al cielo para dar valor a la bonita arquitectura de la capilla en medio de la imagen.
El contraste entre los colores es agradable, y da mucha potencia visual a la foto.

A capela parece ser suspenso em uma rocha, que irá fornecer um pouco de proteção com a ascensão do mar devido ao aquecimento global. A composição é bem sucedido com essa frente ampla e areia molhada. O céu é soberba. Excelente qualidade. Bravo.

The little church is certainly attractive and strongly positioned in this fine exposure but, for me, the sky is the outststanding element. It appears to be radiating from the church like a halo around a head.

Yet another nice POV on the waterfront chaple, Goncalo.
I think this one from all your series about this place, is the finest.

again, classic Goncalo :)
basically you have 2 main colors, and a little hint of white.
the clouds give that sense of movement and speed despite being still.
the color contrasts are great visually.
strong visual impact.

Hello,

Nice wide angle view with space in foreground and the clouds in the sky pushing the look far away. In this composition, the chapel is finally put in evidence as an anchor in the frame.
