Photographer's Note

Last photo of this part of the Guadiana River, one of the longest rivers in the Iberian Peninsula. It starts in Castilla la Mancha, in Spain, and meets the sea in the Gulf of Cadiz. A good part of it marks the border between Portugal and Spain, as it is the case here. I was on the Portuguese border and the bank we see here is already in Spain. It's a really beautiful area, with many bird species and old water mills.

Hello Ana,
The scenery and the atmosphere of wilderness is quite fascinating. The attractively shaped clouds and their perfect reflections are maybe the finest features of the photo. The colours are intense but I find the photo slightly dark.

Whooo - I like it! Actually it's under-exposed (are there any pure 255 highlights in those clouds?), but that's part of it's charm. Although it appears to have been shot at midday or thereabouts, you've managed to inject an element almost of mystery, certainly of intrigue. Beautiful place, and as a borderland, also interesting.

Bonjour Ana

Une très bonne utilisation du filtre polarisant qui donne des teintes très sombres à ce paysage ensoleillé. Tout un beau contraste entre le ciel et le plan d'eau qui sert de miroir.

Oi Ana, vista muito boa deste lugar rio interessante e bonito Guadiana, muito bem composto e capturados neste fotografia bom e belo. Despues de mis vacaciones en Canarias, ya estoy de nuevo con todos vosotros en estas paginas.....
Muy hermosa imagen, que nos muestra todo el esplendor de la naturaleza, en esta caso las quietas aguas del rio, con sus orillas bien arboladas, ideal los reflejos en el agua.
Una foto con hermosos colores naturales, buena iluminacion y nitidez.

Beautiful wild river landscape here under a gorgeous sky and the reflections of the clouds in the river are simply sublime. This is a great surrounding where I could easily spend some hours just walking and looking at it.

L'effetto del polarizzatore ha saturato il cielo e sottolineato il candore delle nuvole.

me lembrei de uma canção que fala da pedrinha e do rio guadiana.
lindos reflexos mostrando novamente as lindas nuvens. a luz e o colorido do momento estão muito bem mostrados e preciosos nesta compo.

Linda foto, as nuvens têm formas interessantes e seus reflexos na água deixam a foto bem bonita! Achei que o tom mais escuro da foto combinou com a paisagem.
