Yellow fields..., a photo from Beja, South

Photographer's Note

As I've been away for a few days, I'm posting another photo of the fields in Spring, now that summer is arriving and the flowers are almost all dry. Once again I returned to the region of Beja this season and this is one of the photos I took there, on a beautiful sunny day.

Eye-catching image, being surrounded by yellow fields every spring is difficult to resist trying to make something of them as it comes in to the height of summer. Definitely can see where some of your location inspiration comes from. I know how hard it is to get the truly brilliant colour of these flowers in a photo, but you have done well, the way it looked cheerful even on a dull day. The contrast against the blue sky is gorgeous. Great shot and tx for sharing.

Hi, Ana. Lovely saturated colors with contrast and including the photographer is a nice addition. I can see some puppies interspersed in the yellow flowers but I love the deep blue sky contrasting with the yellow flowers. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Ana,
It's nice to see you back, and with such an amusing and very eye-catching photo. It is a great and artistic composition of the yellow field, the blue sky and the small cloud. The arm holding a camera is a funny detail. It looks like that person is taking a selfie among the flowers, but maybe I'm wrong. Whatever, that arm certainly gives your elegant composition a bonus.

Hi Ana,absolutely fantastic!! A landscape not easy to enjoy by small people :)
It looks a little like the photographer got lost in a jungle of colza flowers.

Bonjour Ana,

J'aime beaucoup le côté léger et joyeux de cette composition. Le colza monte très haut dans ta région et le personnage tenant la caméra à bout de bras en est la preuve.Magnifique diagonale.

The handheld camera emerging from the sea of yellow flowers is intriguing and makes a fine focal point. Wonderful warm cold color contrasts between the blue sky and golden flowers. Tfs!
