Time for Transhumance - XXI, a photo from Guarda, North

Once again, I joined the shepherds and followed the route of transhumance, leading around 1000 sheep and goats from Seia to Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain in Portugal, where they are going to spend the summer, because it's not so hot and they have better pastures. I 've already forgotten about the heat and the dust, it was an amazing experience to be among so many animals and to have the chance to talk with the shephers and listen to their stories.

Great continuation from previous ones, you did establish so valueable sereies. They seem to be cowboys from old times. Background bokeh is so gerat and hilights these 3 handsome guys so well.

Bonjour Ana,

Un très beau trio.Ils prennent leur travail au sérieux mais profite aussi de la vie et du moment. Ils forment une belle ligne de fuite et sont bien placés dans le cadre.

Très très belle vue de ces bergers en transumances ils sont presque tous habillés de la même façon leur bâton leur chapeau et chemise bleue avec verste en plein marche et discussion superbe.

your series on this year's tranhumance is fascinating, you followed the route and procedure closely and have captured very interesting scenes in excellent photos. I like very much how this group stands out against a blurry but meaningful backdrop. Great sharpness, natural light and colours make the scene so vivid.
