Photographer's Note

As soon as Spring starts and till the end of summer, there are several reenactments of Medieval Fairs in the country. Take became very popular these last years and they attract lost of visitors. Many of them take place in historical cities or villages. I go there whenever I can because I like them and because they are usually very good places for photos.
This one took place last year, in Vila Ruiva, a small village in the Alentejo. It's not a very big one, but I liked it a lot.

Hello Ana,
This is also a very good photo, especially technically. It is wonderfully sharp and well exposed and with excellent natural colours. It is also an interesting view of this music and dance trio. I wish there had been a short movie attached, or at least a sound file.

This time we see more people taking part in this unusual event. It looks like an Arab dance from Medieval times. Great opportunity for photographers for nice scenes. No wonder you like visiting these festivals. Beautiful presetation

The dancing girl is captured excellently sharp with her arms, her hair and the clothes swinging around in an attractive way on the beat of the music brought by her companions.
You've composed this very well with the branches in the upper left corner up to above her head.
Your low point of view provides a good result.

That's another really good folklore/festival picture. Great timing on the dancer, good light and pov too. The scene looks surprisingly middle-eastern to me. Thanks for sharing & thanks for explaining what we see in your note.

Hello Ana, you have captured the moment perfectly, as the womans' dress swirls around with her dancing. Also, I like to see all the other people, as they take part in the re-enactment.
