Espinho

Photographer's Note

This is a shot for KOLESN TE member that invite us and ask a theme for this date and time in all the world at 17:02 GMT time at 19/03/2005. I agree and here you have my town at this moment near the beach and with a perspective to north and Oporto town.

The weather today is not so good, we have a little smog and a vast withe cloudy sky, but temperature is okay, for this day and season.

This photo will be classified in future in title in my normal serie, but I also make a "WS" for this moment, because a lovely and unknown person ask to take also a picture of this before, but I wait this for last minute.

Thanks for KOLESN for this interesting idea, and also for all of you and these special moments for us.

You don't have a good weather but your photo is very interesting, same movement and dog, red and black ...Well captured.

Oh two very fine and lovely examples of daily life in Portugal - I like both - seems you where at the right spot at the right time and had your camera ready - fine job Fernando - thanks for sharing with us on this wonderful sight.

Lovely "daily life" shot of a "special moment" - I especially like the way you handled the repartition of the different persons in the composition, and also the colours softened by the misty weather. Well done Fernando!

We had also the same foggy weather at 17:02 GMT, which is 18:02 in our little Netherlands, more than 2000km from Espinho! :o)

What a chance to live at the seaside! That allows beautiful photographss, here the sway in the crowd at the edge of the beach is very interesting!

Nice photo, I like the depth which brings out the people from the surrounding environment and the distant town seen through the haze. I also like the feeling of spontaneity that the picture conveys. Well done!

The girls and their smaller friends are going synchronously and with confidence. Other people are walking freely enjoying the marvellous view.

A view that shows us the differnces on our continent, while we nearly have summer here only one week after having brutaly left winter, it seems winter has decided to spend some more time in Portugal, nice view;

Good evening Fernando!
Next beautiful shot from your town. Very good depth of the field, interesting scenery with the people. I think temperature was about 7-10 C, good for walking. I like the foggy background . Thanks for posting. Waiting for your next.

Hi Fernando, Good to see the scene in your area at the exact the same moment. It looks that you have another beach day there. You have more freedom in your beach. In California, smoke is prohibited in public beaches.
A nice composition in capturing the activities. I caught a scene at this moment also.

Mais uma bela foto representativa do quotidiano de uma bonita cidade. Gosto muito do enquadramento com as duas senhoras passeando o cão em primeiro plano. A luz (apesar das deficientes condições atmosféricas) está excelente, com boas cores e óptimos contrastes. A cidade do Porto ao fundo esbatida pela nebelina produz um belo efeito na composição. Mais um grande registo Fernando. Parabéns e um abraço!

Bela perspectiva e enquadramento, Fernando; gosto imenso desta foto, que nos mostra uma cena da vida diária de Espinho (ao fim-de-semana, claro...), com as pessoas passeando calmamente e usufruindo da tranquilidade do local. A neblina ao fundo também empresta à foto uma atmosfera especial que muito me agrada!

I`ll not comment the quality of the photo.
But I thank to you (all) for letting me beeing on 43 different places in the same moment, letting me see with your eyes, having somehow the same thoughts, letting me feel yoir spirit in the moment as I put my finger on the shutter.

Special thanks for Aleksei(kolesn) for his idea.

But although I have all that good feelings, after the enthusiasm of the moment has gone, there's something taht makes me think about.
There are actualy 13099 members on TE.

Fernando, I like this photo! The composition is so spontaneous and yet remarkable: two women graciously walking their dogs - great colours, sharp, against the foggy background, beautiful!! Congrats for this shot and thank you for sharing the same minute of that day with me :)

Um momento e outro momento tirado pela sua camara no seguimnto e expectactiva de um membro recente no TE que até teve uma boa ideia e desejava dinamizar fotografia e trocar ideias e composições nesta WEB. Não farei criticas nem comentarios escritos sobre esta foto ou momento, mas foi um grande tributo e uma grande espontanea dedicação pessoal a esta grane organização fotografica internacional.

A great moment in time in your city, Fernando. With these two ladies walking their dogs almost in tandem and all those people enjoying the afternoon by the sea. Very descriptive and atmospheric.
