Photographer's Note
I visited Azores Islands some days ago, that is a nice beautiful Portuguese archipel of nine islands situated in the vast Atlantic Ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America. Now I'm posting some recent posts of my visit to S.Miguel the main Island.
This view is a approach from a upper angle of the high mountain East approach to the center of the Island with my Zoom camera and capturing the North view and a more narrow perspective between North and South that is near a 10 km. You can see this second approach to Ponta Delgada in my WS that is also very important and makes Two pictures in One.
This is a shot to RIBEIRA GRANDE a town very near the capital PONTA DELGADA but in this angle side and in a weather multi-faceted condition.
You can see my first aproach by Jet Airbus plain to Ponta Delgada, here:
Link
NOTE: I will make the translation of a great TE member that lived in this Island and that have make critiques to my pictures about some questions about weather and light conditions. So, Cristina very well kwown here by the nickname SNUGGLEAPHAGUS, says about S.Miguel and Azores Islands in my last post.
Her words and experience in Portuguese: "As cores e atmosfera da foto estao iguais à realidade deste lugar e ambiente.
Her Words in English: The Atmosphere and Colors are equal and transcribe the reallity of this local and natural ambience. In any island of Azores you have a raining momment at 12h00, sunny day at 12h15, haze time at 12h45 and possible a great rainbow to make a picture later after 12h59.
YOU will see this complementary scenery to a right view in my WS - Workshop work, that you must look, because is important.
MY current Serie is about this particular Atlantic Island with harmonious mountains, sea scenery, cows and wonderfull volcanic sceneries, nature and lagoons, that I will try to catalog in different selective ways to post.
This is a natural and preserved Island that have many people linked to United States, Canada, North Europe ans also naturally to Continental Portugal.
In these posts I explain in more detail the detail focus of a momment attention to this Serie of pictures and momment.
I like your TE comments and critiques and in AZORES we have like a type of VIVALDI Four Seasons In a day simphony. It's difficult to shot here and also I will do my best with some particular little PP software details that I will use only in some particular situations.
Thanks to ALL of YOU and I hope that also like this approach, from a point of knowledge, culture, voyage and share ideas, peoples and momments in life.
The best to you all.
Fernando

Hi Fernando, A gorgeous view you have captured in this beautiful photo. An excellent composition to have the entire bay clearly captured. I like the inclusion of the fence in the foreground, which shows the depth of the photo. It is clear picture in foreground as well as the background. An excellent picture with nice color contrast, clarity, and depth. Well done.

Astonishing view. I love green fields and the black cloud in the upper part. I like the definition of the photo, also the broken fence. Congratulations.

Very nice, Fernando! I like the fact that the diagonal in the fence parallels the coastline. The grey clouds at the top add mood, as do the flowers at the bottom.

Hi Fernando! I love your perspective here, with the foreground fence and the depth of the scene. The tones and contrast are also very good, and the sky makes for a real ambience here. The yellow flowers also are an added dash of colour. Very well composed and excellent note. Your travelogue is most interesting for this series. Regards.

Hello Fernando.
What a view.Interresting to see the play of the light on different part of the land and sea.
The eyes follow along the coast which gradually disappear.
Good composition.

Ola

A very nice view and a double foreground:-)) I like the fence which is the foreground but also the splendid line of tiny flowers, which gives that other foreground a special mood, that's very well done, Fernando:-))

Wow, Fernando, you have outdone yourself with this splendied shot. I particularly like the POV and sharpness. It's a pretty place, especially with the low lying cloud formation.
Best to you,

Hello Fernando. This is an interesting photo. It seems experimental and unique to me. The sky is very overexposed--but this is not a bad thing. The fence, the scene and overexposed sky really add up to make an interesting, moody effect. Nice work!

A beautiful deep view in this coastal landscape, Fernando. The wooden fence and the yellow flowers are very well utilized as foreground elements, and only enhance the depth of this stunning view along the meandering shoreline. Great interplay of the light and shadows, too. Very nice work.

Ricardo
