The granite giants saw the end of the giant pines
... they saw the end of the barley fields.

Where the path to the granite giants reaches the milestone altitude of 900 m.

In the circle of 40 km radius from here there are dozens of villages and a few uninhabited islands above 900 m.

No asphalt roads in any of those islands. Here the next asphalt road is 3 km away.

Hi Ilena,
Look like a very bright sunny day when you took this picture. I guess this is what happens if economic interest is placed above ecological concern. Good picture.
