Azenhas do Mar is situated in a picturesque valley, its white houses perched on the North Slope, is one of the most appreciated and interesting beaches, with swimming pools dug out of the rock. The Miradouro das Azenhas do Mar is built on cliffs that drop fearlessly to the ocean. It is a popular place both in Summer and Winter, due to the grandeur of the view it offers. There, you can admire the Atlantic Ocean in all its splendor and, with a little luck, watch fishing trawlers sail far away.

Hi Paulo,
That's what I imagined before I came to Portugal. And I wasn't wrong. This is so beautiful. Wonderful capture of waves vs. rocks. The "wall" of these rocks with houses reminds me of the ship conquering new lands and facing wild, but picturesque ocean :D
Great color of the ocean. Next time I'm in Portugal I'll go to Azenhas do Mar.

with this pov I understand why is so appreciated and interesting beach..you capture in a nice way:Atlantic Ocean in the left side and the other side those beautiful houses builts on the cliffs...I can imagine what lovely perspective is from there...

A sempre impressionante vista das Azenhas do Mar. Gosto muito apesar de pensar que lhe falta um pouco de brilho. Também tenho uma foto deste local aqui no TE.

PS. Já agora, o que é que fazes na indústria do petróleo? Também trabalho na mesma indústria e sou Geólogo de Sonda.

Olá!
Não me canso de ver fotos deste lugar. Nesta foto eu cortaria um pouco do céu em cima, até porque as nuvens mais bonitas estão em baixo.
Tenho por aqui uma foto de Azenhas do Mar e até inventei um selo ;-)
