Freezing in Paris ... nostalgy (saudade) of Lisbon and the warm nights there.

The funicular da Gloria going from Baixa district to the Bairro Alto one.

Lisboa is a great and amazing city. I love it.

Nice mood in this iconic Lisboa photo. Like the grain and specially the light that comes from the elevator graffited front. Great compo with an old polaroid character. Great!

Beautifully nostalgic. I remember my childhood when after dinner our whole family together used to go for late night rides on the trams through the 'Maidan', the large open area in Central Calcutta. The trams are being phased out ... sadly.

I like the diagonal lines a lot.
Nice and warm mood.
It somehow creates a bit of confusion, which I of course like a lot.

Ici, comme la nostalgie, comme la mémoire, l'image résiste à notre regard. Nous avons seulement une lumière, et un fragment, rien complet. (Mais, bien sûr, la nostalgie n'est pas identique a la "saudade.") -Hugh
