Sunny forest, a photo from Santarem, South

Photographer's Note

Wandering in the forest with my wife and kids, I found this place that looked absolutely great to my eyes. While my kids were collecting some pinecones, I made this shot.
Not a conventional foggy forest photo, but a sunny forest one instead. I used the polarizer to avoid a white sky. Hope you like it.

Superb colours! Well done with the polarizer: it helps the contrast between the clear sky and the plants. Your POV is well chosen, I appreciate the composition.

Hi Pedro,
Exceptionally goof forest picture. Because of strong light differences these are hard to capture. Strong colours. And wide angle shows those foreground ferns well.

No a bad autumn photograph. Listen, did you use any ND grad filter? The tree trunks seems to be a bit dark at the top. Nice photo!

very well captured. These sort of images can be difficult to capture well and you have done just fine. i especialy like the detailed exposure of the bracken.

I like the non coventional sunny day forest photo Pedro! The vivd colours are very nice indeed and you did well in capturing the various blues in the sky.

I came by your excellent gallery of photographs in visiting my good TE-friend, José Pires (stego). And indeed, this shot immediately grabbed my attention. It is one of the most beautiful nature photographs I've seen on TE — featuring very good composition, superb colors and flawless resolution.
