Photographer's Note
This is another photo taken near Montemor-o-Novo.
I think it is not usual to find so many flowers in Winter, but as the weather was very good in the days before, the fields were full of those little white flowers.
This is the second photo of my theme 'Portuguese Landscapes in B&W'. Hope you like it.

Hi Pedro,
I like the way the movement of the sky appears to mirror that of the flowers, which do indeed look like a stream. Must be fantastic to see a spread of flowers like that in the winter! The composition creates a strong sense of movement and depth and the vertical format works well. I imagine the colour version must be very striking too.

Na realidade, olhando bem até parece um rio de flores. É muito curioso ver como não há flores nas margens! Mas, também gostaria de ver a versão a cores.

Hi Pedro!
Beautiful landscape, excellent framing and composition, inmense depth of field and great overall definition! Your choice of b&w is a little bit unusual for this kind of photos, but I think it's great, and makes this photo, stand out! Congratulations!

despite the black and white treatment...this one is a stand-out in that you hve a delightful scene done in an excellent composition. the flowers merge into the trees then the trees curve towards the sky and the clouds on the sky swirl a bit back towards the trees taking your view once again into the trees and flowers
