Mertola before sunrise, a photo from Beja, South

Photographer's Note

Guess it's time to post another night shot. This one was taken in Mertola, just a few minutes before daylight.
Mertola is a beautiful small town situated in the south of Portugal and what we see here is the historical part, the castle and the old city inside the walls. Mertola has been Moorish for a long time and the memories of that period are still very present there.
On the top, on the right side, we see a white church that was once the mosque and usually, every two years there's an Islamic Festival to re-create the old days.

Hello Ana. I like this capture during the blue hour with saturated sky. The perspective of the building is stunning and you captured well in sharpness and exposure. The light is just dazzling all over the frame. Best regards. Jusni

Olá again. A outra está melhor mas aqui, talvez por estar mais próximo, o castelo vê-se melhor. Parece-me um pouco torta mas eu tenho pancada com isso :) Disseste: "Não tenho ido para aqueles lados agora." Vai daí, foste mesmo. Bom, tenho que publicar a Igreja da MIna de S. Olá Ana,
A luz e cores estão fabulosas e juntamente com o padrão das casas brancas coroadas pelo castelo resultam numa foto esupenda, 'cheia' de atmosfera. Prefiro o enquadramento desta ao da #2, mas não consigo dizer de qual gosto mais em termos de luz. Quer-me parecer que é ilusão, mas dá ideia que está ligeiramente inclinada para a direita.

You ahve caught this lovely place and a wonderful moment , Ana. the exposure is very nice. The star points of light give it a sense of sparkle. Did you use a special filter? Regards kevin
