Photographer's Note

On the day of the Spring Equinox we revisited the already famous Duck Pond in the Botanical Gardens in Bucharest, Romania. This time the weather was sunny with high altitude clouds and strong winds.Note the generally Nordic appearance of the sky and the peculiar quality of light. Ducks are back already for a while now but they were quietly (!) getting fed at the other side of the lake.
Technical note:This is the little Canon M50 mark 1, had it for a while now- nice light DSLR replacement that does most of what you need in a small package. A friend got the newer better smarter faster Canon M6 Mk II- a good bit more expensive, with a nicer set of features but sorely lacking a native viewfinder- and the add-on one is expensive (I know, I got it for my positively ancient G1x mk 2).
The lens used on this one is a 7.5 mm fisheye fully manual lens by 7Artisans. All metal construction, declicked aperture, includes permanently mounted "tulip" hood -very cheap and does not take filters at all. It has some chromatic aberrations on the side. And about the distortion type- unfortunately it has a very pronounced second and higher order distortion field- normal apps cannot straighten much of its perspective. Here some light de-fishing was carried using Fisheye Hemi but something still looks a tad erm..wrong. But the field of view is much to my liking, almost 180 degrees horizontally.A nice lens, within its limits. And considering the price....
