Photographer's Note

Vidra Lake is a storage reservoir, located in the Parâng Mountains group, on the Lotru River, in Romania.

It has an area of 12.40 km² and a volume of 340 million m³.

Its associated hydroelectric plant Ciungetu, has a maximum power output of 510 MW, using an altitude difference of about 800 m.

The dam and the hydro plant were built between 1965 and 1972. It is the second largest hydro plant in Romania, after Iron Gates.

C'est curieux comme ce lac prend une couleur sable.
La beauté est de mise avec ces nuages qui s'allongent poussés par le vent.

Salutare Ovidiu

Vidraru este unul dintre cele mai frumoase locuri din Romania,tot timpu mi-ar placea sa vizitez acest loc.Foarte bine capturat si culori potrivite pentru aceasta poze.

Happy that this is a hydro plant and not a nuclear plant.
Nice low taken this give extra depth and perspective.
