To me a great one Horatiu! I love the excellent graphical composition with strong whites and deep blacks. All very sharp and clean too and very good rendering of the textures. Her dignified attitude, the face partly in the shadow, yet her expression comes out so well, the shining eyes looking at you. I am eagerly looking forward your next ones, love to see the way you are experimenting. Compliments!

Hello Horatiu,
A very effective study in light and shade of this interesting lady. Her features remain distinctive; in particular her eyes, the most important part of the face.

I don't know about the face half in shadow. Imo the face is here the most important....

Really confident study Horatiu - the woman half in shadow - the big block of white. Very well crafted my friend, you can tell this is no hastily taken snap shot. But it is the little glint from the eye which brings it all to life.

great play with the light and the darker parts in the photo. "simple" compo but with a certain force, a big content behind it . great new stuff, curious to see more !

Cut that flower pot on the left and you have a photography in there.
Now you've got a fotka of the village woman somewhere in Romania.
Also" Bring up (brighten) her eyes.
Why ?
Because she'e looking at us.
That's why.

Bonjour, Horatiu.
Sur le plan de la situation et de la composition, on ne peut pas dire que tu varies beaucoup ;).
En revanche, nous avons ici un formidable contact entre la dame et le photographe.
Dommage que ses yeux restent tellement à l'ombre mais je vois ici quand même quelque chose : une étincelle dans un oeil !
Une très belle lumière.

It's a good idea to try to depict the way of life of these people--eventually it will disappear. It will be a long time before they "join Europe" in the way that many urban populations are doing, but someday it will come. Here, I like the way her plain sweater matches the plain wall next to her--after all, life is relatively simple and basic there. Regards, Ken.
