Photographer's Note

Chilly autumn in the God's Land... Misty mornings, shorter days and patchy colors on the slopes of Vogel. The highest Slovenian peak Triglav and glacial lake Bohinj are basking in the afternoon sun. Mountain ridges hide many natural treasures - waterfall of Savica, lovely Alpine meadows and crystal clear Seven Lakes of Triglav. It takes 5 hours to reach them if you start from village Ukanc on the left side of Bohinj. Paragliders are still jumping from Vogar and landing in the field on the right side of the lake, but no boats can be seen... It is calm until the place will be alive again and full of skiers.

What a breathtaking view! You were lucky to be there on such unbelievebly bright day, without even the smallest cloud. And the colour of the Bohinj lake is so intensive and deep.

Hi Vilius,
A beautiful and comprehensive view of lake Bohinj from thsi elevated PoV (Vogel ?), I like here the strongly contrasting water blue and the autumn touch in the lower right corner. The panramic format is well appropriate to such a view that has the Triglav as a nice bonus, looks like you had a wonderful weather for your vacation !

Encore une fois tes couleurs sont magnifiques, le ciel et les couleurs d'automne c'est très beau.

Hi Vilius, what an excellent panoramic bird view from the Bohinj Lake. Your effort to climb all the way up payed out extremely well. The autumnal colors of the slopes contrast very well with the deep blue of the sky and the lake. The diagonal composition gives a quite interesting depth to the picture.

This shot of Slovenian landscape is marvelous! Beautyful colours, especially deep blue colour of the Bohinj Lake. It must be breathtaking view in the reality!
